Having graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in journalism, carrying an emphasis in public relations, I’m new to the Portland scene and happy to be in city again. In between waiting tables and interning with a friggin’ awesome advertising and PR firm in Portland — a company I hope asks me to stay permanently after my three-month gig — I find time to soak up this sweet city that reminds me of the Bay Area. Whether music, politics, PR or random thoughts here and there, Ink&Sword is a place to ask questions that need to be asked, transcribe thoughts that need to be thunk and communicate collectively via this platform I so reluctantly refer to as the “blogosphere” (can we come up with a better name? I mean, really).
